SHARED CHALLENGES IN A SMALL WORLD

The latest NGP virtual study tour landed in three very different landscapes with a surprising amount in common

In the 20th century, the aeroplane made the world smaller. In the 21st century, video conferencing has shrunk it even more, allowing us to meet with people in far-flung corners of the world without even leaving the house. It’s never been easier to celebrate what makes us different, and to share what we have in common.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, NGP has hosted several virtual study tours, and our latest round-the-world trip took us to three continents in three days. From Africa to South America to Asia, this virtual voyage of discovery was a chance to explore some of the landscapes where NGP is working – and to discuss shared challenges, exchange experiences, investigate opportunities and develop solutions.
